We’ve got some exciting news to share! For the 2021/2022 season we’re launching a brand new group training option for members. This new offering will allow you to train with like-minded people every week of the season through to March.
With this additional Training Membership, you’ll be able to join two group training sessions a week. We’ll be running on Tuesday nights and riding on Saturday mornings.
The sessions will be structured and there will be a range of options and abilities, so they will complement your coaching plans as you build towards your season’s events. Or if you’re more of a social butterfly, we’ll have options for you too!

The cost is $99 for the entire season (this is in addition to the standard Tri Wellington Membership of $25 a year).
Group training facilitator role
We’re on the hunt for a special someone to help us coordinate the new group training programme for our members.
You’ll be paid to facilitate and coordinate the logistics of a weekly run 🏃and bike session 🚴♀️ from August to the end of February. This will include setting meeting times and locations, providing an overview of routes, coordinating volunteer group leaders and briefing them, communicating the plans to members and maintaining good relations with a number of local coaches who will provide session outlines. You are not expected to have any coaching experience of your own but training knowledge and experience will be beneficial.
